CHRISTMAS EVE SNOW

Let the snow begin...
It started snowing last night
And it has been snowing all day.
Last I heard we had 6-7 inches
But it keeps on falling.
A white Christmas we will have for sure.
There is just something about snow on Christmas Eve.
It has done wonders to both Todd and I.
I think we feel some Christmas Spirit finally.
However...
I wish the person shaking our snow globe would stop.
I think we have had enough.

A SIMPLE KISS

Your lips are softer then a rose petal
As they barely brush my longing lips.
The touch sends such chills of ecstasy through out my body,
Slowly taking my breath away with each touch.
My heart skips a beat as your lips slowly part from mine,
All the while feeling satisfied with this gift from you…a simple kiss.

SOMETHING NEW

I wrote this poem a few days before we had our first date.
We met online with a dating site. Todd showed interest in me.
We had been chatting by email and instant messaging for a little more then two weeks...

We are trying something new
and don't really have a clue,
which way this will end.
Who knows maybe more then a friend?

So far I like what I see,
You make it easy to be me.
For now you are giving me hope
while we help each other cope,
bringing laughter each day.
Just one other thing I would like to say,
I thank you for being you
and trying something new.

A POEM TO MY BABY...1990

I lay here on the bed
With visions of you in my head
I can’t wait for you to be in my arms,
To see your angelical face and all your little charms

Filling this movement inside of me
Wondering what the dashing knot racing across my stomach could be.
This beginning of a love compared to no other
A bond between unborn and a Mother.

Whether you are a girl or a boy
I know my life will be filled with joy.
I’m so grateful to God above
For granting me this chance of a bundle of love
So tiny and mild
This wonderful gift…a child.
